We now offer a subscription planTechnological advances make it possible to give even small medical practices access to affordable full service medical billing services.
How do we do it?
Technology has changed how most companies do business. It provides time-saving online tools and makes daily tasks easier and more efficient.
In the medical billing industry, it has been more complicated to use some of these advances. Security and privacy is crucial when handling sensitive patient information. Data transference must be HIPAA compliant.
Most large group practices have in-house medical billing departments. Mid-sized practices may outsource to medical billing companies or hire staff to assist with their medical billing needs. These options are out of reach for many individual providers and small group practices.
The going rate for outsourced medical billing is currently between 8%-10% of the amount of revenue collected. In addition, most tack on costs for postage, copies, patient statements, etc. Because of this, many single providers are juggling their practice and medical billing on their own.
Recent advances in HIPAA compliant data delivery methods has changed the manner in which we are able to collect information necessary to submit claims. Because of this, we have developed a system that automates much of the medical billing process. This decreases the amount of direct data entry required, by both providers and medical billers and allows us to reduce our rates.
What does Full-Service Medical Billing Include?
Benefit and Eligibility Checks
Our system uses HIPAA compliant forms to collect patient demographics and insurance information. This allows patients and providers to submit eligibility and benefit requests directly to us. As an important first step, determining benefits and eligibility requirements prior to a patient’s first visit eliminates most insurance payment issues. This is in the best interest of everyone.
Electronic and paper claims are submitted in a timely manner to Private Health Insurance Companies, Labor and Industries, Auto Insurance Companies, Medicare and Medicaid as applicable to the provider type we are billing for.
We track and record payments from your patients and insurance carriers. This provides us with information to catch and address issues early.
We will submit invoices to your patients monthly, for patient owed balances. Patients can contact our office if they have questions about their bills. Payment plans can be initiated when necessary.
We provide a monthly accounting of all charges, payments and adjustments and an up to date accounts receivibles report.
We are available to answer questions, make suggestions and lend our expertise. We enjoy helping your practice flourish.
We also offer:
